Frame, June 29, 1960, PSB & DD Drawing no. 1487-6007-3, BuShips Drawing no. ARS-27-S2001-1937769, Revision C. Contractor: Philip F. Spaulding & Associates, Plan no. 6007-3, February 25, 1960." U.S.S. Snatch (ARS 77) was a navy rescue and salvage tug acquired by the Scripps Institution of Oceanography in 1959 and renamed R/V Argo.
